Frequently Asked
Questions about Fhydes
Fhydes is not the only app that offers encrypted communication. We realize that. But it has some advantages that you should
pay attention to.
As the only one, it provides not only privacy, but also anonymity. We do not know who actually is the user that activates a particular Fhydes number on their smartphone. We don’t know their name, email address or phone number.
We encrypt not only the content of messages sent by Fhydes, but also all technical data – no one knows who you are talking to, when, for how long, etc.
The app is created only thanks to paid subscriptions. We do not have advertisers, outside investors, political players or anyone who would influence our mission and your right to privacy.
The Fhydes app was created by secure communication enthusiasts who simply could not find a satisfactory solution on the market.
That is, implemented independently, with an emphasis on user needs and their right to privacy and full control of the information their share on the web. Successive versions of the closed Fhydes app have been actively used, tested and refined by a group of specialists over the years. From 2023, the app is available to everyone.
In a world where we are all so dependent on technology, we at Fhydes feel it is our duty to educate users about the safety, privacy and data protection of all of us. Everyone should have the right to full control of the information they share about themselves with online businesses.
The Fhydes app was created for everyday private communication on a smartphone. You will achieve its highest performance and the best level of security when using iPhone SE 2 model or newer with iOS operating system version no older than 12.
If you are using a phone with Android operating system, make sure your system is updated. If you care a lot about privacy, we recommend using Android phones no older than 2021 models.
No. One Fhydes number can only be active on one device. We know that you may be used to the fact that the history of your conversations is visible on different devices. But this is security vulnerability and it’s so critical that we decided to resign from
this feature.
You can transfer a paid Fhydes number to another phone, but you must take into account that the history of your contacts and calls will not be transferred (because – for your safety – Fhydes does not store it).
Yes. We encrypt everything you do on the app. Your messsages, photos, attachements, video and audio calls. And all technical data – no one knows who you are talking to, when, for how long, etc.
Yes it is. Fhydes is an EU based company and we take privacy very seriously. Remember that the app is designed in such a way that it does not process ANY of the user’s personal data.
We respect the law and always support the pursuit of justice and truth. But even if the Fhydes team faced any legal obligation to share any of its users’ data – we can’t do that because no one has access to the decrypted content of your messages. We don’t know who the users are, what they’re sending, who they’re talking to, when and for how long.
Because it’s the only way to ensure our clients’ anonymity and their full control over the amount of personal information they’re willing to share. This model allows to separate purchase data from Fhydes number activation. Ultimately, we do not know who the user of a particular number is, we do not know his address, telephone number or e-mail address.

We are independent company with a 100% transparent business model. The app is created only thanks to paid subscriptions and its price level depends on the current costs necessary to provide Fhydes with continuous development and constant technological service at the highest level. We do not have advertisers, outside investors, political players or anyone who would influence our mission and your right to privacy.
As digital communication has become seamless and instantaneous, the importance of cybersecurity in safeguarding data privacy within a company’s internal communication cannot be overstated. As organisations increasingly rely on digital platforms and mobile devices for communication, the need to protect sensitive information has become a paramount concern.
It seems that it’s challenging to avoid that company executives and employees alike share sensitive information through digital communication channels. From proprietary business strategies to personal employee details, the information exchanged within an organisation can be a goldmine for those with malicious intent.
One of the first lines of defense in ensuring the security of internal communications is having properly configured phones and communication apps. The configuration of devices and applications plays a pivotal role in securing personal data and safeguarding crucial company information.
This involves avoiding human errors (mostly by training and building awareness) and ensuring the security of all company devices. For the latter, a series of activities will be required: from choosing the appropriate smartphone models to their proper configuration, implementing robust password protection, enabling encryption, updating the device’s operating system to patch vulnerabilities regularly etc.
Selecting Fhydes, as a communication app that offers top-notch end-to-end encryption (including chats, technical server data, attachments, calls), full anonymity and features like automatic history clearing, ensures that the data exchanged between users is secure and remains confidential. Fhydes encryption methods prevent third parties, including service providers, from accessing any content of the company communication.
